Dainavon (“Dae-Dae”) Tuzo is the Musical Director at Dennis Smith Entertainment, where he assists clients with original orchestration for custom events. He is a producer and songwriter who believes that music is an international language that breaks barriers. “Where words fail, music speaks.” He continuously aims to evolve in his musical abilities and uplift others. Dae-Dae also acts as the musical director of Jessie’s Girls, a premium event band.
He has worked across diverse genres including pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock, reggae, calypso, country, and gospel, with globally renowned artists, songwriters, and producers, such as Tyler Perry, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, and Queen Latifah. His musical talents have been featured on national television shows such as BETter Fights Breast Cancer, The Trumpet Awards, and FOX’s hit series, STAR.
Born and raised in a musical family in Bermuda, he learned how to play the drums, piano, and saxophone at an early age, and received the honor of performing for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II when he was only 13 years old.
After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2004 with a degree in Music Business and Management, Dae-Dae moved to Los Angeles, where he perfected his craft in production, mixing, engineering, and music arranging. We recently featured Dae-Dae in Meet the Creators, a new video series where we explore the creative influences and minds of our team here at Dennis Smith Entertainment.
